For the craft beer lovers

If you love beer, you’ve probably come across Stone & Wood before. Founded in Byron Bay, you can go along to their local and independent brewery known as ‘The Tasting Room’ located on the vibrant Arts & Industrial Estate.
Grab a bite to eat and enjoy a tasting board of their latest brews, on join one of their brewery tours. The tour gives you a closer look at the brewery and provides an in-depth experience for all levels of beer-lovers.
Your tour begins with a fresh beer and sit-down discussion about the Stone & Wood story, as well as the history of beer and its main ingredients. You’ll then head upstairs to the brew deck where a guide will talk you through the brewing process. Finish off with a guided tasting of 5 different beers from their core range.

Discover Aboriginal culture

Guided by Delta Kay, an Arakwal Bundjalung woman who is passionate about sharing local Aboriginal culture, this special tour is one for all the family.
The Cape Byron Aboriginal tour is available Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and starts at 4.30pm. The tour consists of a beautiful 2-hour return walking trail where you’ll learn about significant cultural places, bush food, natural medicine, tools, weapons and artifacts, as well as discover local history and hear some traditional stories.
Experience stunning views of coastal rainforest, ocean vistas and rocky cliffs, and encounter an abundance of wildlife such as dolphins, wallabies and Fairy Wrens along the way. You’ll also get the opportunity to learn some Bundjalung language too.

Sea kayak adventures

Get out on the water and kayak alongside a resident pod of bottlenose dolphins on this family-friendly ocean tour run by Cape Byron Kayaks.
Led by expert guides, this amazing tour takes you through the crystal-clear waters of Cape Byron Marine Park. You’re guaranteed a dolphin sighting (or a return tour for free) and all gear is provided. You’ll also get to refresh with a tea and biscuit break on the beach.
No kayaking experience is necessary, and you may even spot turtles and humpback whales on your tour too! Tours run in the morning and the afternoon every day of the week.

An underwater paradise

Experience the wonders of the reef on an unforgettable dive tour to Julian Rocks Marine Reserve. A half-day double dive trip, operated by Blue Bay Divers, departs at 7.30am from the Brunswick Heads Boat Harbour.
From there you’ll take a short 15-minute boat ride out to Julian Rocks. Accompanied by an expert dive guide, you’ll enjoy up to 60 mins bottom time per dive where you’ll swim amid colourful corals, tropical fish, manta rays, wobbegong sharks, sea turtles and more!
During your 1-hour surface interval, you’ll be served a complimentary light lunch consisting of hot savoury pastries, fresh fruit salad, a selection of biscuits and chocolates and tea/coffee/water.
